Learning Through Interaction
Students participate in debates, games, sports, cultural programmes, computer quiz, contests etc. to inculcate the feeling of togetherness, a spirit of shared learning and a sense of belongingness. Music and dance are integral part of our curriculum. All students are inspired to draw and paint, commercial arts are also taught.
Handicrafts
Students shall learn recycling of waste material and enhance their innovative and creative skills. They learn to make bags, puppet, cards and other reusable items which are to be displayed to encourage them especially during Parent Teacher’s Meetings.
Social & Science Clubs
Students enthusiasm is to be channelised by setting up Environment Club, which makes them aware of their Mother Nature, environment and its preservation while Social Club organizes activities like visiting and helping the needy in the nearby area, educating poor children making them sensitive to each other’s problem and finding solutions to them.
Sports
The school aims at all round development of the students and proportionate emphasis is laid on the physical growth along with academic progress, emotional maturity & social well being. A variety of games and sports constitute a part of daily routine. The school has facilities for indoor and outdoor games like Badminton, Football, Chess etc.” Annual sports” meet gives an opportunity to the students who display excellence in different sporting events.
Yoga & Meditation
In order to achieve the integrated growth of mind & body, self management of behavior, thought and attitudes, children take part in yoga and meditation in school which develops a disciplined wholesome personality. The school keeps a detailed check on the physical well being through regular health checks.
Each child from nursery onwards meditates regularly. This form of transcendental meditation along with various breathing and relaxing exercise have a beneficial effect on the body and goes in a long way to control negative emotions like anxiety, anger and hyperactive behavior which is widely prevalent in today’s adolescents.
